Holiday Hang Out, a Gift Market at MEEPS!

What are you doing this weekend? MEEPS has something awesome for you to pencil in: Holiday Hang Out, a weekend-long holiday-themed market.

This is the perfect opportunity to buy gifts for everyone on your list (and to scoop up a thing or two for yourself.) The market features five local (and soon-to-be-favorite) makers:
• Elizabeth Graeber, a celebrated local illustrator, who will be selling her illustrated books and zines, cards, pillows and also drawings
• The Runcible Spoon, D.C.’s favorite food zine founded by Malaka Gharib and champion of the absurd. For sale will be zines new and old and a special ornament
• Warm Distractions, a modern knitwear line by Mia Lopes. For sale will be knit accessories, sweaters and tote bags.
• ODA, a brand by Sylvia Schieber. For sale will be her line of custom ties and scarves, all printed with breathtaking shale rock imagery.
• Saint Lydia, a new venture from Alison Baitz, featuring modern accessories, postcards and zines.

Join us for the opening party pm Friday, Dec. 12 from 6-9pm, with holiday music and refreshments and  a chance to mingle with (and buy from) many of the makers. We’ll have complimentary kombucha from DC’s own Craft Kombucha. The market is also open to shoppers on Dec. 13 andDec. 14, during normal MEEPS hours (11-8 on Saturday, 11-6 on Sunday.)

Come on out! We hope to see you there.
