We can’t wait to see Issue 2 this spring!
The PALENTINE’S DAY PARTY with On Flora is TOMORROW from 6-9pm at MEEPS! PLUS On Flora has taken over the Meeps window for the month of February. Designed by Katlyn D’Angelo and styled by Alison Baitz, it features a larger-than-life zine cover and fake flowers galore.

In her new zine, Elizabeth Graeber illustrates “Farmers Markets of D.C.”
We LOVE Elizabeth’s illustrations and the guide is also a useful directory to DC’s huge farmer’s market scene! She even includes a mini-zine of an illustrated tomato sauce recipe.
She’s also created two mini zines; “Stylish People” and “Stylish Pets.” We love them as imaginative stocking stuffers made by our fave local illustrator!
Come by Meeps and check it out !

Due to a variety of factors, we can no longer do BUY/SELL/TRADE at Meeps.
However, if you have a collection (10+) of VINTAGE pieces dating from the 1960′s and prior, especially dresses for day and night (embellished, colorful, patterned) you can email firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of items and photos and we will get back to you about setting up an appointment. Although we prefer to only buy 10+ items in one go, extra special items may be reviewed.
As a reminder, NO: furs, new things, stains/damaged goods, etc.
Fall is here along with homecoming season. When we think homecoming and fashion, Howard is the first school to come to mind. We were inspired to do a mini look book to celebrate the week-long celebration of this historic D.C. university and it’s creative and stylish students. Here are some looks styled/photographed by our own Howard student, Shenarri Freeman and modeled by students Rome Miller and Ashley Johnson.
Ashley wears a vintage 1960s eyelet dress w/elbow-length puff sleeves ($62), brown fedora ($24), Meeps handmade brass and clay jewelry ($24).
Vintage flannels are perfect one-of-a-kind street wear staple for the fall – try them buttoned up, opened, or even around the waist. Great for a street wear look. Rome wears 80s flannel ($26), vintage-inspired fashion frames ($15).
Rome wears a face mask fun for Halloween or year-round ($6)!
Rome wears an 80s southwest influence button-down ($26), 70s duffle bag ($26), and vintage snap back ($15).
Rome wears a long-sleeved 80s 7/11 shirt ($26), 80s vest ($36), and snap back ($15), fashion frames ($15)
Ladies rock flannels too! Ashley wears 80s flannel ($26), Meeps made powder-coated U necklace ($32), 1970s deadstock necklace ($22), 70s coca cola hat, 70s beaded purse
